Young Entrepreneur Competition

Goal:

During the two consecutive years of the implementation of the project, a competition of entrepreneurial ideas will be held for the students from the 7th grade. The children will thus develop their creative skills, ingenuity and team spirit, and the winning teams will benefit from a visit to Norway.

  • Sub-activity 5.1: Purchase of materials and equipment

Goal: Equipping partners with materials, equipment and tools necessary for successful implementation of the activity.

  • Sub-activity 5.2: Preparation of basic ICT skills

Goal: The deep digitalization of today's society brings with it the need for basic literacy in the use of ICT. In this way, children will gain knowledge of the use of e-mail programs and the development of electronic correspondence, the protection of personal data, the use of social networks according to an etiquette.

  • Sub-activity 5.3: Basic entrepreneurial knowledge modules

Goal: Acquiring basic knowledge about the concept of entrepreneur, development and validation of a business idea, the structure and content of a business plan, presentation of a business idea, basics about the company and financing systems.

  • Sub-activity 5.4: Young Entrepreneur Competition

Consists of a competition in which groups of 5 children from 7th grade will develop a business idea and present it to a team of teachers from the school. Qualified teams from each school will present their business idea to the project partners, and the winning team will benefit from a week-long trip to Norway. The teams ranked second and third will receive material prizes.

  • Sub-activity 5.5: Visit of the winning team of the competition to Norway

The winning team will benefit from a week-long trip to Norway where they will also visit a successful business in the field / profile on which they developed their entrepreneurial idea. Children will benefit from recreational activities the rest of the time.

The project benefits from a grant of € 1,448,247 provided by Norway through Norwegian Grants under the Local Development Program. The objective of the “Access to Success” project is to create a program of integrated measures to increase the degree of social inclusion through educational and counseling measures for children at risk of dropping out of school in urban and rural areas of Sibiu and Mureș counties in the Center Region.
