Formal education activities to prevent school dropout

Goal:

Implement a program of educational support services for the primary target group and provide formal educational support services.

  • Sub-activity 4.1: Purchase of materials and equipment

Goal: Equipping partners with materials, equipment and tools necessary for successful implementation of the activity.

  • Sub-activity 4.2: Development of socio-emotional skills

Goal: Students learn to identify and develop components of intrapersonal and interpersonal intelligence in order to successfully integrate into educational and social relational contexts and to generate and develop quality human relationships.

  • Sub-activity 4.3: Mediation of school conflicts

Goal: Students learn to prevent conflicts and find appropriate conflict resolution solutions accepted by those involved in the conflict.

  • Sub-activity 4.4 : School and vocational guidance

Goal: Students learn to identify personal career skills, formulate their professional goals, seek appropriate training and occupations, and become aware of the importance of personal and professional development.

  • Sub-activity 4.5: Remedial activities within the school after school program

Goal: Within the School after School program, time is allocated to specialized support such as homework, remedial / support activities, development for high-performing students. Individual support includes the provision of psycho-pedagogical assistance for the recovery of learning gaps, homework support activities and individual remedial activities.

The project benefits from a grant of € 1,448,247 provided by Norway through Norwegian Grants under the Local Development Program. The objective of the “Access to Success” project is to create a program of integrated measures to increase the degree of social inclusion through educational and counseling measures for children at risk of dropping out of school in urban and rural areas of Sibiu and Mureș counties in the Center Region.
