Medical services

Goal:

Implementing educational measures for hygiene and the importance of prevention in children's health, but also understanding the importance of nutrition and how to eat healthy and cheap. Scan sessions for cardiovascular disease will also be performed on a sample of the primary target group. 

  • Sub-activity 7.1: Healthy nutrition workshops

There will be a number of 36 workshops, three in each participating school. In each workshop there will be a theoretical presentation represented by knowledge presentation, observation, interactive discussions based on questions, etc. and a practical component with information specifically designed to suit the age of the children.

  • Sub-activity 7.2: Educational workshops on the importance of hygiene and medical prevention

The workshops aim to form a conscious hygienic behavior by consolidating the knowledge, skills and habits acquired in the primary cycle. The theme of the workshops will include presentations on individual hygiene, lifestyle, hygiene in the community and sex education.

  • Sub-activity 7.3: Medical consults for the identification of potential cardiovascular diseases

There will be a number of 200 consults with the “Caravan of Hearts” initiative for the early discovery of potential cardiovascular diseases in the primary target group.
