Through the project "Access to success", 980 children aged between 10 and 16 years, at risk of dropping out of school, from 12 schools in Sibiu and Mureș counties, mostly in rural areas, will benefit from educational activities, non -formal and social integration in order to prevent school dropout and / or early school leaving.
”Access to success”
The project ”Access to success”code PN2058, aims to making an active contribution in increasing the degree of economic and social cohesion at local and national level by improving the formal and non-formal skills of secondary school children, increasing their pass rate in high school and by developing the skills, knowledge and professional skills needed for higher-skilled jobs.
Financing
The project has a budget of € 1,448,247 awarded from Norway through Norwegian Grants under the Local Development Program. The objective of the project is to increase the school participation by at least 10% of a number of 400 children in the primary target group and to increase the transition rate in higher school education (ninth grade) by 1.5% during the implementation of the project.

A complete school attendance and the development of healthy psycho-emotional skills and increased self-confidence will provide these children, in the future, with the prerequisites to contribute to the development of a more inclusive and cohesive society.
The measures addressed directly to the primary group of beneficiaries are correlated with ancillary measures addressed to their school colleagues, teachers and psychologists, but also to groups of parents.
The project runs for a period of 30 months, between 01.09.2021 and 28.02.2024 in the localities of Agnita, Alma, Axente Sever, Marpod, Cârţişoara, Cristian, Răşinari (Sibiu County) and Albesti, Saschiz, Târnăveni, Sîncraiu de Mureş (Mureș County).
